Nutrition doesn’t have to be hard. We have partnered with EC Synkowski to bring her Three Pillars Method® to members or non-members interested in a sustainable nutrition program that works with real life.
The first pillar of the program is a 30-day #800gChallenge®. In this phase the focus is getting 800 grams, by volume, of fruits and vegetables. There are no other restrictions and the Three Pillars app makes it easy to track with options to track by gram, ounce, cup or fist. 90% of Americans do not get enough fruits or vegetables and this simple first phase can give you more energy from all of the nutrient dense foods and will likely displace some less desirable foods in your diet due to being full and satiated. The second pillar, also 30-days long, is Lazy Macros®. In this phase 800 grams of fruits and vegetables are still tracked with the addition of a protein target. Again, adding nutrient dense foods is the priority and there are no other restrictions.
In the final pillar calorie targets will be set based on your personal targets and goals. By this time there are two months of healthy habits built and a good understanding of calorie needs. Here is where you get to refine the process based on your targets.
As a gym we will periodically due the 800g Challenge together, but the program can be started at any time. Since gym membership is not required to participate it is easy for friends and family to join along!
