How to Transfer SugarWod information into PushPress

Import Workout History to Train:

Follow these steps to import your workout history to Train or see video link!

  1. Log in to Train.pushpress.com
    1. Open your web browser and navigate to Train.pushpress.com.
    2. Enter your login credentials (email & password) that you use for the member app and click "Login."
  2. Access Your Workout Section
    1. Once logged in, locate and click on the "My Workout History" option. This is found in the left hand menu.
  3. Select "Import Scores
    1. Look for an option labeled "Import Scores" on the top right section of your screen. Click on this option to initiate the import process.
  4. Choose the File to Import
    1. You'll be prompted to select the file containing your workout history. Navigate to the location on your local device where the workout history file (typically named workout.csv) is stored. Click on the "Choose File" or similar button.
    2. Select the file and click "Open" or "Choose" to proceed.
  5. Export the File (Optional if import fails)
    1. If your import fails you may need to export the file to a new CSV on your current device and retry steps 1-4. See video on how to export CSV file here.

Updating Benchmark Workouts:

  1. Once you've successfully imported your workout history, you can link your benchmark workouts for future reference and metrics. Updating Benchmarks

Notes from Jo:

The export from Sugarwod is almost 100% good to go into PushPress - however, the way they tag scores doesn't match up perfectly and will end up leaving off most/all of the benchmark workouts. If you upload the file directly, without making any edits, you should get a good chunk of your data in, especially your lifts (so max snatch, bench press, etc.). If that works for you, you are good to go! If you want your benchmark workouts (Fran, Murph, Helen, etc.) you will need to do a little bit of cleanup on the excel file. If that is you, the more detailed instructions on that are below.

PushPress score types need to be one of the following: NO_SCORE, FOR_COMMENT, FOR_TIME, FOR_ROUNDS_REPS, FOR_WEIGHT, FOR_DISTANCE, FOR_REPS, FOR_CALORIES, FOR_COMPLETION. The SugarWod export is using things like "Rounds + Reps", "Meters", and usually doesn't include any label on for time workouts. To fix the "Rounds + Reps", "Meters", labels, you need to do a Find and Replace All edit. And for the missing labels, you'll need to go through and manually add in "FOR_TIME".
